Ilse Jamonts - Specialist in Meditation

    Ilse Jamonts

Meditation has been Ilse’s main interest for more than 30 years. She specialises in Health Education, Personal Development Coaching and Counselling. Originally trained as a Nurse and Midwife, she was more interested in Health Education and Illness Prevention. This led her to explore alternative health options and helped establish a national alternative life style Newspaper ‘Ziriuz’. With Fai Hast, she developed a Colour Healing Course. Ilse designed and taught the meditation methods. This course caught the attention of Monash University Community Environment Program.

Ilse’s interest in meditation methods and applying them in various settings led her to apply to the Shepherd Foundation when they first formed their Wellcare Health and Lifestyle Education program. This was one of the first Victorian Institutions to address preventative health care management. She pursued post graduate qualifications simultaneously in Community Education and Human Relations Education. Then she was offered a position in student health services Chisholm and Holmsglen Institute and organised and coordinated 3 Health Fair Programs for students - Oriental Alternatives, Sex Drugs Rock and Roll and Food and Physicals.

Her interest in meditation methods took on a serious training dimension when she met Jean Warren. Jean had spent 2 years training at a Canadian Institute and was asked to provide holiday relief for the Directors of 6 established Ashrams and Spiritual communities in the US. Ilse trained with Jean for three years also studying at Lincoln Institute where she created and designed Stress Management program specialising in meditation and in the people management field.

    Meditation Therapist Teacher

Interest in meditation never lost its lustre for Ilse and she continued exploring many meditation systems that were offered, leading her to develop her own meditation methods manual removing the cultural emphasis from them. In the late 1990’s, Ilse also developed highly specialised meditation methods in the area of Drug Rehabilitation and has worked in this area for over ten years.

From the very first years she learnt meditation, Ilse was asked to teach the discipline and while pursuing this interest she came across many different energetic healing modalities; some she has explored in depth and teaches, and if appropriate applies them within the context of her work.

    Vibrational Healing

In this ‘Century not only will we eat the right food and take minerals for healthy well functioning physical bodies, but the awareness that the utilisation of vibrational remedies whether they are gems, homoeopathic, flowers or herbal for personal growth and development will be accepted. The idea that these should only be used for healing illnesses is being superseded.’ Gurudas

There are many different types of vibrational remedies, in fact one could almost make a remedy out of anything, from the ‘less complex’ - gems, flowers, trees, fruit, vegetables, trees, metals to the ‘more complex’ provided we understand the nature and function of that element. Ilse has specialised in Shell Essences but utilises what is appropriate for the circumstances. She is a certified Shell Essence Practitioner and Teacher. The use and application of vibrational healing assumes some basic knowledge of the Subtle Body Anatomy and Physiology, a topic she has also taught.

For the last 5 years Ilse has discovered the role that sound frequencies play in healing and personal development. Combining this with meditation methods, she offers a very exciting option for our future if we are open to the possibility.

Ilse is passionate about meditation and its applications and has spent many years bridging the esoteric and exoteric worlds.

Today Ilse is writing a book about the meditation methods used in various contexts for healing and is very happy to join the Team at Utopia Health Care and working with Mychelle.
